Summer fun

I just can't seem to get enough of Sprinkler fun this year. Chloe is such a personality, and getting to watch her run around so free spirited and fun loving has been my pleasure. It's like I get to share a secret world with my daughter, and I get to look through her big, beautiful, blue eyes and see what simple thing makes her so happy.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Happy 4th of July!! What a great day for fun, family and photos! These were the American flags in front of our house. We went to a fun party with a slip n slide, fireworks and lots of smiles. I hope everyone had a safe Independence Day!

We had some fun in the sun with the sprinklers - boy is it nice to finally be out of a 3 year drought!

Chloe looked up to the four brothers at the party - and I think this summed it up. She wanted to be just like them all day. She wanted to be one of the boys.

WOW...

Well what can I say? Life got crazy!!! I haven't updated my blog since before Easter, which is pretty much when the madness started. Sorry I've been so slack, but I'm playing catch up, and starting to get to enjoy taking pictures again.

I've had a chance to take some pictures during Easter, a trip to Canada and some other events.. I'll do my best to get caught up over the next couple of days!

This morning was a foggy morning, but the dew on the grass caught my attention - so out came the camera! :)

Daddy sure hopes so!! Adam got Chloe golf clubs for Christmas, and I have to admit, I thought he was nuts!! Yup, what's new?? Well with the weather being nice these days, we're outside after work enjoying some family time together. What says family time more than golf? :) I have to admit it, Chloe's pretty good! She seems to have a natural talent for hitting the ball around and actually getting some air. Daddy sure is proud - oh and I think the neighbors have got a kick out of watching her play too :)

Tea Party

Beautiful weather - check! Gorgeous daughter - check! Mommy with a camera - double check!!

Chloe and I painted a tea set the other day (yep, I kept the camera away for that special, messy moment). We went wild, and it took two days to let it dry and then I had to bake it - such work, but what a pay off! Tea with Chloe, we had apple juice and chocolate cakes. I had to turn away to not freak out over the mess that was everywhere, couldn't ruin the moment. Whale Shark and kitty were nice enough to join us for a cup.

Who had a good St. Patrick's Day?! Chloe and I remembered our green this morning - granted we had to go upstairs and change because mommy wasn't on the ball, but in the end - nobody got pinched!

Stay tuned, we had our very first tea party today, and I got some cute pictures, but I've yet to upload them.

fun in the park

Well after a crazy, crazy, CRAZY weekend - I got to spend some quality time with my little bug at a brand new park! It was hot, in the 80s and we took advantage of the great weather. We picked up a brand new dress (yes mom, I'm aware it's purple :), made a picnic and went to town! Chloe was in a great mood, and could not wait to get to the slide. Frankly I think the child was getting so fed up of me taking pictures of geese, trees and random things, that she was about to scream at me to hurry up if she weren't so gosh darn polite!
